Cannons and cendol and orang utan

I went to oh-so-historical Malacca with my cousins. We stopped by near a place somewhere before going to Malacca, it was called.. well, i don't know. I know it has something to do with P and L. Yeah.

There were a lot of stairs we had to climb. And the place smelt like.. er.. funky. Ew.

So we climbed.

Still climbing.

 Yes, still climbing.

 When we got up there

So we had this small mini place to ourselves and we decided to take random and funny pictures. =D

I was not aware that the boys were taking pictures.

Oh, these four pictures are funny. Edwynn decided to turn the shutter speed on and well, he didnt tell us girls. So we stood there like idiots, posing. While the boys knew and started moving around.

Of course, then I realized that they were moving and I figured out. =.=

And so this time, we all knew what was happening.

Several pictures and laughter later, we hit the road once more to Malacca!!! It was 11.30am and we were starving cause none of us ate a proper breakfast before leaving. And what better meal to have in Malacca for lunch than Chicken Rice?

Too bad this place was closed. According to dad it is the best he has had.

Anyway, we decided to settle for the shop at the corner along Jonker Street.

Even I feel like eating it again

Oh so juicy chicken

RM 33.30 later, we walked along Jonker Street where Wye Keat brought us to this small place to eat Cendol. Common, when you come to Malacca, you got to at least try out the cendol.

Edwynn was taking so many pictures of it, we couldn't wait to start eating.

Look at Linus and Wk. Enjoying themselves with 'em heavenly bowls of ice and sugar.

With all the coconut milk, gula melaka, ice and cendol in our oh-so-full stomachs, we went around Jonker Street and walked into those antique shops. And boy, were the things expensive. REALLY expensive.

Those coins WK was looking at, they were being sold at RM 100 and above. EACH.

I was looking at a pearl necklace that was priced at RM80-something. Were they even real?
Things they do to cheat tourists

And almost all of the shops looked like that!

We were at some tourist shop, that sold lots of hats.

The church!

Since Edwynn decided to climb into this tiny hole,

we decided to humor this poor soul. =b

We climbed up the stairs to St. Paul's Hill. It got us wondering if we really liked walking up stairs cause we seemed to be doing a lot of them that day.

He got up there first and decided to be a poser.

The converse group! =D Except Edwynn! Haha!

Some tourist from China was being so hyper, he snapped pictures of everyone else. As in, he went up to a random person and shot pictures with them. And all four of us were asked to take a picture with him. He was surprised to find Malaysians up here. =.=

Coming down from St Paul's Hill, we went to a mall and walked around cause we were sweating. And WK was basically running away from the sun. =.= After cooling down, we went back to Jonker Street again cause we were starting to feel hungry again and we somehow had a craving for laksa. Yum. We did make several stops though. Going into Bastion House, looking at the equipments the Europeans created for torturing people. I walked in there with jello legs. I really couldn't walk straight. No cameras were allowed though.

They recently discovered this place. Wk told me that this proves that the Hindus were here WAY before the Parameswara shyt we learnt in Sejarah.

Moving on, Wk noticed that one of the walls were like climb-able. So we decided to be monkeys and climb la. There was a bus parked facing the wall, filled with Taiwanese tourist. And when we climbed the wall, they were looking at us in shock. You could see their expressions quite clearly. =D

Look at WK, poser sial.

Edwynn took all of pictures from down there. He eventually climbed up too.

We climbed up to the cannon area thingy thing.

Someone got a little interested.
"Oh, what's this?"

*squeeze* *squeeze* *look* "Ooooo.."

LOL

Then we stopped by at The Orang Utan House.

Charles Cham is a good artist. And I bought a tee. <3

So cute hor. <3

3 t-shirts later, we went back to the shop where they sold cendol to have our tea. Erm, more like, starving-cause-we-walked-around-Malacca-City-for-4-hours-none-stop meal. Asam Laksa. Bludy spicy. Damn good too!

Nom Nom. Drink Coke. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. =D

So hungry, we finished it all. By the time we did, we had running noses.

We met up with another cousin of ours, Timothy after that since he worked in Malacca.

Surprise surprise, we all jumped into his car and he brought us to eat Satay Celup. Yes, I know we just ate a whole bowl of asam laksa, but we couldn't help it! =D

The place you MUST go!

Crap, looking at myself eat is making me hungry. D=

I basically gave you guys the whole this-is-what-I-did-when-I-was-in-*insert name of place here*, in chronological order. =D I would love to go back to Malacca once again for another eating escapade. All those delicious food undiscovered by me and family have yet to be digested into our tummies!

Toodles with love and right now with hunger,
Alanna the Banana
