Friday's and McD's and the movies

Hey y'all! Happy Chinese New Year! I am not too late, there is like a few more days left. =) You still have the chance to go collect your ang pows. I just got one today. Hur.

Anyway, remember I told you guys I was working on something and told you all to guess? Ah, nobody left comments on what it was anyway.. =( I was doing my best to keep the cbox more alive but apparently all we are talking about now is the Titanic. =.=
Anyhoos, here it is!!!! =DD

Before I cut the whole thing out.

The final piece.

I am super proud of myself for cutting out this piece. This is the FIRST piece EVER that I have no made a mistake. I followed the lines and improvised it here and there, did the final touch ups with no accidentally cutting out something. It happens. I love it. =')

So I framed it up. =D

A better picture. =)

So since it is framed, it is now hanging on a wall. And I get to see it whenever I want and be proud of it and the best part I finally get to show my work to people even if they are just close ones. =)

Ah... Moving on! I have FINALLY started Uni. =DD Currently in Monash, Sunway campus doing Business. Woot! Loads of students. Met a few new people and I like the campus! It is big and and the cafeteria is cool. In a way. Probably in a month's time I'll be finding excuses to get out of the campus to grab lunch. But the cafeteria has San Fransisco Coffee! And 1901! And Hot N Roll. And other stuff of course but I am happy. =) Orientation is actually a pain in the arse. I have to get so many things settled and it is driving me and some other people crazy as well. Hopefully when classes start next week, it would be smooth-sailing. That's of course when assignments start pouring in. I'm drained out. Gotta settle my timetable tomorrow. I'm doing my very best to keep my Fridays off. =D

Greek gods and root beer

A simple gesture makes all the difference to a girl. Holding her hands, offering to pay for the bill, not wanting her to leave so soon, opening the door for her and et cetera, et cetera. With such acts of chivalry, a girl feels like she's being treated well and liked and loved.

Thanks for the lovely evening. =) Happy Valentine's Day.

Watch me spin

I've been immersing myself in art once more. And I'm loving every single minute of it. Am currently working on cutting out another artwork. AND JUSTINA IS BACK!! I LOVE YOU JUS!! =D

I drew the picture below. Yes, it is le very cartoonish, but I did it for my cousin who had an art assignment to hand up the next day. So I tried to make it not really nice. But still, I like the fact that I painted the background. =D

And this is what I am currently working on. Can you guess what the object is. A little hint - though it may not be really helpful - it is a genre I have never worked on before.

Nope, no prizes to be given out. But let's see if you guys can guess what it is. =D

Make me smile like the sun

As most of you know - well, maybe not most, some - I am a HUGE ASS FAN of LADY GAGA! Yes, I think she is EPIC. So what is she dresses up quirky? She's GaGa. She can pull it off! And plus, her outfits are actually made by famous designers.

Anyway, I totally admire her ability to do acoustic versions of her songs. I also admire those people who can do acoustic covers of Lady GaGa songs too. So far I know 2 people who have done a great job. And proud to say, both as Malaysians! Also, one of them are one of my babes, Sue Vern.

I must say, she did a fantastic job! And the last part with her asking for a high 5 is normal of her. Uber seriousness in the beginning and then a random high 5. =D It made me laugh. Anyway, do check her out! She'll be appreciative. Very.

Never leave you

Since it's STILL the holidays for me, I have a lot of spare in time in my hands. And sometimes, my mind does often wander. But most of the times these days, I've been thinking about death.

In the car, when I'm driving, I imagine myself just driving at a normal pace and suddenly a huge truck comes by the side of me in high velocity that it crashes into the driver's seat which has Moi in it. Therefore, death. And I wonder how parents would receive the news, how other loved one would take it.

Walking down the stairs, I imagine I slip and fall down the flight and I die with internal bleeding in my head. Actually, before dying, my parents find me and calls 999. I go to the hospital in a coma. Relatives come and visit me. My mom and dad crying telling me stories that I've never heard or I have forgotten. Friends coming to visit me and they do their best not to shed tears. Then of course, I imagine that I never wake up and hence, death.

When I come back home late at night after a date, I get down from the car and walk towards my house. Then I start thinking that there's a serial killer on the loose and he walks up behind me and just stabs me on the shoulder, and I turn back and he takes out the knife and stabs me again, this time, through my heart. He leaves me there to bleed to death. I can't cry, I can't shout for help. All I can do is watch the killer running off as my vision starts to fade and I die. Funeral arrangements are made and people cry, flowers are given. And my body gets cremated.

Oh there are a lot more scenes of how I picture myself die. One with someone pushing me towards and escalator going down. Imagine lots of cuts and hands getting stuck on the escalator. Another one with someone kidnapping me in the toilet of an empty mall. Oh many many more. I'm probably so conscious about my driving these days, and I make sure I don't run down the stairs, and I usually have someone at home with the gates open when I arrive home after a late night. Oh, I hold the banister on the escalators and I stay in the yellow box, I don't want my foot getting stuck in there. I usually go to the toilet with someone. If I'm alone,  make sure there's at least 2 people inside it. I think I'm paranoid. Ah, what can I do?

Cannons and cendol and orang utan

I went to oh-so-historical Malacca with my cousins. We stopped by near a place somewhere before going to Malacca, it was called.. well, i don't know. I know it has something to do with P and L. Yeah.

There were a lot of stairs we had to climb. And the place smelt like.. er.. funky. Ew.

So we climbed.

Still climbing.

 Yes, still climbing.

 When we got up there

So we had this small mini place to ourselves and we decided to take random and funny pictures. =D

I was not aware that the boys were taking pictures.

Oh, these four pictures are funny. Edwynn decided to turn the shutter speed on and well, he didnt tell us girls. So we stood there like idiots, posing. While the boys knew and started moving around.

Of course, then I realized that they were moving and I figured out. =.=

And so this time, we all knew what was happening.

Several pictures and laughter later, we hit the road once more to Malacca!!! It was 11.30am and we were starving cause none of us ate a proper breakfast before leaving. And what better meal to have in Malacca for lunch than Chicken Rice?

Too bad this place was closed. According to dad it is the best he has had.

Anyway, we decided to settle for the shop at the corner along Jonker Street.

Even I feel like eating it again

Oh so juicy chicken

RM 33.30 later, we walked along Jonker Street where Wye Keat brought us to this small place to eat Cendol. Common, when you come to Malacca, you got to at least try out the cendol.

Edwynn was taking so many pictures of it, we couldn't wait to start eating.

Look at Linus and Wk. Enjoying themselves with 'em heavenly bowls of ice and sugar.

With all the coconut milk, gula melaka, ice and cendol in our oh-so-full stomachs, we went around Jonker Street and walked into those antique shops. And boy, were the things expensive. REALLY expensive.

Those coins WK was looking at, they were being sold at RM 100 and above. EACH.

I was looking at a pearl necklace that was priced at RM80-something. Were they even real?
Things they do to cheat tourists

And almost all of the shops looked like that!

We were at some tourist shop, that sold lots of hats.

The church!

Since Edwynn decided to climb into this tiny hole,

we decided to humor this poor soul. =b

We climbed up the stairs to St. Paul's Hill. It got us wondering if we really liked walking up stairs cause we seemed to be doing a lot of them that day.

He got up there first and decided to be a poser.

The converse group! =D Except Edwynn! Haha!

Some tourist from China was being so hyper, he snapped pictures of everyone else. As in, he went up to a random person and shot pictures with them. And all four of us were asked to take a picture with him. He was surprised to find Malaysians up here. =.=

Coming down from St Paul's Hill, we went to a mall and walked around cause we were sweating. And WK was basically running away from the sun. =.= After cooling down, we went back to Jonker Street again cause we were starting to feel hungry again and we somehow had a craving for laksa. Yum. We did make several stops though. Going into Bastion House, looking at the equipments the Europeans created for torturing people. I walked in there with jello legs. I really couldn't walk straight. No cameras were allowed though.

They recently discovered this place. Wk told me that this proves that the Hindus were here WAY before the Parameswara shyt we learnt in Sejarah.

Moving on, Wk noticed that one of the walls were like climb-able. So we decided to be monkeys and climb la. There was a bus parked facing the wall, filled with Taiwanese tourist. And when we climbed the wall, they were looking at us in shock. You could see their expressions quite clearly. =D

Look at WK, poser sial.

Edwynn took all of pictures from down there. He eventually climbed up too.

We climbed up to the cannon area thingy thing.

Someone got a little interested.
"Oh, what's this?"

*squeeze* *squeeze* *look* "Ooooo.."

LOL

Then we stopped by at The Orang Utan House.

Charles Cham is a good artist. And I bought a tee. <3

So cute hor. <3

3 t-shirts later, we went back to the shop where they sold cendol to have our tea. Erm, more like, starving-cause-we-walked-around-Malacca-City-for-4-hours-none-stop meal. Asam Laksa. Bludy spicy. Damn good too!

Nom Nom. Drink Coke. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. =D

So hungry, we finished it all. By the time we did, we had running noses.

We met up with another cousin of ours, Timothy after that since he worked in Malacca.

Surprise surprise, we all jumped into his car and he brought us to eat Satay Celup. Yes, I know we just ate a whole bowl of asam laksa, but we couldn't help it! =D

The place you MUST go!

Crap, looking at myself eat is making me hungry. D=

I basically gave you guys the whole this-is-what-I-did-when-I-was-in-*insert name of place here*, in chronological order. =D I would love to go back to Malacca once again for another eating escapade. All those delicious food undiscovered by me and family have yet to be digested into our tummies!

Toodles with love and right now with hunger,
