Do you remember

Sometimes, you just miss some things.

Spelling out words with the chairs in college
(Word spelt below, courtesy of Darshan)

The 3 layered tea you always order

Performing

The trip to Japan in 2007
(taking pictures of beautiful scenery)

The small shop where we had one of the best japanese meals

The black sesame ice-cream Pikky and I had in Japan

The crazy things we did in high school

Posing for random shots when we should be really studying for exams

Being crazy with your friends

But most of the times, you miss those things that weren't captured on the screens of your camera. You just have to depend on your memory. And sometimes, memories fade. And what we can do is to create new ones and hopefully, you have a camera in your hands to capture that moment.

Sonofabeesh

Ah, it was just the last post when I talked about how frustrating can shopping be. It certainly does give mixed feelings. Nevertheless, bought my wonderful Gap long sleeved top. Army green, plain and low cut. Awesome. I will be going back there to get my real skinny jeans. Lave lave lave. All for university next year! Oh, did I mention that I've registered for Monash, Sunway campus. I'm not leaving this country so soon. When I finish a year of my degree, then I'll head over to Melbourne Uni. That's if they'll accept me. *prays*

Strayed away from topic again. Oops. Bought myself a pair of pearl earrings for my helix piercing. It matches my bracelet. I is happy. <3

No, I have nothing much to talk about. I am currently STILL bumming around at home. Basically just hanging out with my cousin who is back from Aussie land, watching tons of movies and series I stole from Julius, playing my piano exam pieces as I plan to finish off my grade 8 this year, and reading books which I had them purchased... about 2 years ago. Hmm... which reminds me, I have yet to finish of my Pokemon Crystal map.

We can't have everything

Girls, you'll know how I feel. All of us feel this way.
I hate it when you find all those wonderful, prettyful things that you just wanna have, when you don't have cash on you. Then when you finally do have the money, you either find that item not really as pretty as it was before or it just ran out of stock and that bums you out. Or when you do have money, you can't find anything pretty to splurge on. Why? Is it because when we do have the moolah, we somehow unconsciously think that we can find other better stuff. And when we don't have money on us, we always want the things that we can't have. Shopping gives me mixed feelings. I sad.

On another note, one of my avid readers is going to leave this country. Please continue reading ya. =D
Have a safe trip, Mok! And when you do finally settle in, and when we have hols, we shall visit you! Fish and chips!!! =DDDD

What's there not to love?

Admit it, most of us have never heard of Eva Longoria until she appeared in Desperate Housewives. She is known for playing Gabrielle Solis, a selfish ex-model (despite her height), who had an affair with her hot teenage gardener. She was basically playing a slutty role (in the first season).

Well, look at her. She's fan-freaking-tastic! With such body and boobs, and beautiful, sexy facial features, who wouldn't do her? Even Teri Hatcher said Eva's lips were great. Oh, they locked lips in one of the episodes of DH. Eva's good in playing the part although she's clearly not that type of person. Or is she? Nah.

So why am I blogging about Eva Longoria you may ask or wonder. Well, since I'm on break, and I'm constantly home, I managed to catch E! THS on Eva Longoria Parker. And I must say, Eva is truly an inspiration.

Eva is known as a fashion icon, actress, model, Tony Parker's wife, businesswoman and also a philanthropist.

What I really admire about Eva is - despite her size - she has gain power to help out those in need. She founded Eva's Heroes, a charity to help out developmentally disabled children. What inspired Eva was her developmentally challenged sister. Eva is involved in many other charities such as Padres Contra el Cancer, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, National Stroke Association and etc. etc. etc.

This woman grew up in a financially unstable family. It wasn't until she managed to get into the entertainment industry, her family's financial status improved. And since she's made it big in the business, she now has the power to give back to her community and the nation. She's someone that we girls can really look up to. =)

I may not look like her, though maybe taller than her by 2cm, may not be powerful as her, but I certainly want to have her heart as big as hers. As a new year's resolution, I have dedicated 2010 to charity. I will save money and donate it to children who are in need, donate blood (yes, I know I have a phobia of needles and blood due to a little incident with dengue and all), and do other charitable things. =D

First challenge:
For every RM100 I save, RM25 will be put away for charity. Once RM500 is collected for charity, I will donate it and I will donate blood. Of course, I have to put on half a kilo in order to donate blood. And although my blood type is AB, also known as the selfish one, I would like to call it Universal Receiver, I will still donate blood. A challenge and a chance to face my fears. =D Some of you have agreed to work with me, cause you just wanna see me scream my head off as I step into the Blood Bank. Nevertheless, I will show it to you and prove it to you I am willing to face my fears for the sake of children in need!
I must complete this challenge before June. College start in March, so I'll start getting my allowance then. This means I gotta cut off shopping. D=

A new year with a new look

Well, it's time since I got a different layout don't you think? I like this template, it is simple and it's easy on the eyes. A totally different theme. All about being Bananas! =D I'm still thinking of a catchy header slash caption though. But I'll stick with this first.

I really don't have anything to do so I guess that was another reason for me to change my blog layout.

There is hope under all this madness

When you're down, when you feel like crying, when you feel that your life is terrible, when you start thinking that you don't deserve your life, just click on this and read. Cause this is what makes me go through life knowing there are still kind and loving people and hope in this ruthless world. Reading this, gives me hope.

- Years ago, my brother's best friend in elementary school had a brain tumor. After his surgery, he wasn't allowed to play outside at recess with all the other kids. I found out that my brother stayed with him in the classroom everyday until he could go outside again. His selflessness GMH. -

- A couple months ago, my little brother came home from his first day in kindergarten. When I asked him about his class, he said "there's a girl in my class, and she's so pretty!" The girl he was talking about is a bald 5 year old with leukemia. His unconditional love GMH. -

- I work at McDonald's and had to work drive-thru last night. Even with my coat and longsleeve shirt, I was still freezing. A woman walked to my window and said "Sweetie, my husband came here earlier and said you looked very cold." She handed me a brand new scarf, hat, and gloves and left. She GMH. -

- My grandpa passed away on April 2nd 2009. Before my grandpa passed he pulled his oxygen mask off his face and lifted his hand up to his mouth. We thought he was going through pain. But instead he blew 3 kisses to my grandma, smiled, and passed away. RIP Grandpa i love you and You GMH. -

Today is the day I realized that I've put in all my trust.
