To keep you here

I've been noticing a trend in my blog lately. Blogging a night before a test. You have no idea, how stressed out I am. SO stressed out, I need to blog it out. What an excuse. =.=

I have 2 more weeks till Trials come. I have YET to study ANYTHING at all. I have 4 subjects to thoroughly go through. I have presentations, reports and tests all lined up for the next week and I am still here. Blogging about how stressful SAM life is. It sucks. I probably should have taken A Levels. Then again, I wouldn't meet my crazy classmates or have all those good times with them. Oh well, no regrets. =D

Back to studying Accounts? Is there anything to study for anyway? It's just reading right? Right? right?

So I'm doing my best

Why is it that I always find myself blogging a day before a test or a major exam? Can I not concentrate? Psych test tomorrow. And my handwritten notes, all written neatly with coloured pens, are WET. YES WET!!! OH MAI GATT! Thank god its just like a corner, and I still can see the writings but the ink is all smudged. What is so pretty is now, blotchy. =.=

Oh, speaking of tests, we had a quiz today. Pop quiz. MERDEKA QUIZ! Sorry, KUIZ! Seriously, I didnt know like half of the paper. Ok, I lied, 3/4 of the paper. Fortunately, everything is all in objective and it's not counted in any our of internal. But if we get the highest score, I think we get a prize. The boys in my class reckons the prize is a poster of our Prime Minister, or our Agong. Or a place in the upcoming parade. I am so not Malaysian after doing that quiz. I don't think I deserved to be called a Malaysian. The only questions I knew how to answer was, "Who was the first Malaysian to break through into the US fashion industry?" - Zang Toi (It's in the moral text book in Form 5!!!) and "Which is the largest man-made lake in Malaysia?" - Tasik Kenyir. Whatever, I just like living in the country where food is abundant!!! <3 *Repeats to self* Carl Rogers' view on personality - Person's basic tendency is to actualise, maintain and enhance life.

Ah! UP is FINALLY here! Pixar's supposedly BEST movie! The trailer is so cute. =D

I cannot wait to watch it actually. I wanna watch it with my Daddy! Daddy is a really big fan of Pixar. He finds the characters so adorable and interesting and the storylines are always out of the ordinary and they are REALLY REALLY GOOD! Daddy likes them so much, he is willing to buy the original DVD if he likes a particular movie, like A Bug's Life. I find it a little too crazy but oh well! He's my partner in crime when it comes to Pixar!

But daddy has no time these days. So I might have to watch it with someone else. Oh well. Whatever it is, Daddy will be watching it with me sooner or later on DVD. =D

Alrighty then! Back to going psycho! =D

That time is running out

I'm supposed to be studying for Moral. Yes, my little people who are still in high school, you still have Moral to study for, if you plan to continue college, that is. No, it's not like SPM where you have to memorize 36 nilai-s and vomit it out the next day with the proper keywords and all. Ugh, hated those days. This time its in English. Yay, you might think. It's not. It's STILL moral. But this time, you just read the notes and just understand it or pretend to understand it and just write down long elaborated answers into your exam papers. And you don't have stupid nilai-s to memorise. And guess what? There is only ONE moral paper. You just have to pass it. =D

Dad still thinks its rubbish, having to sit for Moral classes and all. I could sit here and debate all day long whether its beneficial to us or not but I choose not to.

Benefits of Moral Education :
Development of a holistic individual who is balanced, matured and knowledgeable in making rational action and decision towards the establishment of an ethically fair and caring society.

OH em gee, I have to sit here and read all these slides. They come up to about hundreds of slides. And no tips for tomorrow's exam. Great. =.=

I keep telling myself to start on it, but here I am. Blogging ABOUT it. *whispers to self* need to concentrate, Alanna. CONCENTRATE!! STOP BLOGGING.

24th August is a date to remember. I have reasons I would like to keep to myself. So why am I posting it here? Cause I like to read my own posts and remember how I felt when I wrote them. For now, I feel, neutral. Ah, probably because of the test coming up tomorrow. Gosh, then I have Psych Common Test 2 on Thursday. Stress-nye. And I keep reminding myself to stop typing and start reading. =.=

Better go now. I'll never get to it if I keep procrastinating.

Sometimes, I just can't believe

Hols flew by. One week is not enough. Even the lecturers agree. =.= Oh well, we're back in college and we're starting on work as usual.

Last Friday, we had the twins' birthday party at Luna Bar, KL. Awesomeness I say! =D
I met up with a few friends, to have dinner and all. Sama la, Fiona, Kavi, Kat and Arthur and Julius decided to join in as well. =D

Someone looking hot there. *whistles*

My beautiful kakis. I love you guys.

And there is Arty!

And he's ber-pimping.

We got to the party pretty early even though we left at about 7.30pm. Didn't need to worry la, Fiona. Better be late than never. And it's unlike hot girls to walk into a party early. =D

No doubt, we started taking pictures like immediately, with Arthur's awesome DSLR and his picture taking skeeelz~

Tell me, it's awesome. IT IS!!

You can see the Twin Towers AND the KL Tower. Tell me, is that not awesome?

My kakis. <3>

Toilet pun nak pose. =D

Does this not scream Sex and the City?

Does it not?!!!?

Another babe of mine, Nicole. <3>

Alvin, Mabel (so cute la the both of them), Nic and moi!

This was a little different, instead of the traditional cake, they decided to have like tons of mini cupcakes!!! SHO CUTE I TELL YOU!!!

Yi-vonne and Yi-laine, the most interesting pair of twins i've seen so far. =D It's a good thing.

And maybe some are just in love with them.

The cupcakes, were just plain addictive. To me.

Terrence!

Arthur and Me! and kat.

All you can say is, by the end of that night, I made new friends and I had a great time at the party. Who knew camwhoring could be so tiring and fun at the same time? =D

Went home at about 12am? Arthur and I blasted music in the car. Ok, we just blasted Poker Face. =D Arthur sent me to Hartamas so I could drive home. Dad was supposed to do that but nooooooo, he went drinking with mommy and his friends at Bamboo 9 in TTDI plaza. Best-nye parents ku. *nods head*

But at the end of the day, as I sit in Arthur's car looking through the pictures, one picture just made me smile.

Let's fall in love, over again

Ah, what more can I say? The holidays are here. I get to sit back and relax for one week. Of course, studying is also a priority but let's just say I need a few days to loosen up. But I CAN'T!
I'm sick. Running nose, coughing up disgusting phlegm and that whole lotta package. I probably caught it from one of my classmates. I went to the doctor and no, I do not have the infamous H1N1 virus running through my bloodstream. Just another common cold. It's troublesome being sick. You eat the meds, they knock you out, then you wake up in the middle of the night, wide awake, not knowing what to do next, until about another 2 hours later, you fall asleep again. And I'm missing out on the GOOD FOOD!!!!!! DDDDDDDDDD=

G.I. Joe anyone? I would say it was pretty good, but some of you might think I'm being biased cause of Channing Tatum inside. =D What? He is hot!

*sighs*

*Stares into space for about 10 minutes*

Yeah, I have nothing to write about.

My Heart

Even though Accounts test was just plain torture for my brain, it has been a good day. Those shoes I wore to college today, is not made for walking, seriously. But I got a foot massage after all the walking I did. =P

Well, well, well. It's already the end of july and august is just less than 48 hours away. It really scares me how time really passes by, when you're just having a blast in college. This is the one time I never thought it would come back to me again in a short period. I always thought that those problems would end as soon as I pick a course when I registered for college. Without realising, the time has come again. To choose. Your future. Choosing a course and combination of subjects, was what I thought somehow difficult cause it is your foundation to your degreee. This time, I face something more challenging. My course, my major and minor, and my future university.

Somehow, I just don't know what I like to do. I'm taking Psychology, Accounts, Economics, Maths and English. What am I actually good at? Psych? I got an A for that. Accounts? I'm doing pretty well, surprisingly as I don't pay much attention in class. I'm doing my very best to keep my options open. Fashion marketing and management? Marketing alone? Psychology degree? Accounting? It's really going to take time and lots of research to find out what I'm interested in and what I plan to major in.

There is also another thing bothering me though. Overseas or staying here? For the first half of the year, my mind has always been, going to Australia, get a degree and travel. Now, I think everything in my head is messed up. My friends are planning to do twinning programmes here. The boyfriend is staying here. I've always stood alone when I made decisions. Not following others or succumbing into peer pressure. This time round, I'm torn in between decisions. Should I stay and do a twinning programme? My babes would be here to back me up when necessary. The boyfriend is going to be here and at this point, I can't see life without him by my side. Family is here. I am the only child, it's only normal for me to really miss them if I were to go. I'm used to the KL life. Then again, going overseas is a better opportunity as parents keep telling me. Parents WANT me to go and get a better education. I don't wanna let my parents down. And since my mother knows about my relationship, I don't want her to think I'm staying because of him.

So basically, I'm in a dilemma. It's been bothering me alot as trials are coming up and before I know it, its the finals. August is nearing and it's time for university placements coming up. Reality struck me when they passed out the fliers around in college. That's when I came down from cloud nine.

My friends, actually know what they want to do. Ok, some of them only anyway. But whoever out there who knows what they want to do as their career, and have their years ahead of them planned out, I envy you. I used to be that person. But now, I'm not. I think it's time I put friends, family and all others aside to think of what I really want to major in. I'll just talk to a counsellor. Talking to my parents is also another option but I know the subject of the boyfriend will come up. I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible.

On a similar note, I HATE, absolutely DESPISE relatives when they ask you about your future and they TELL you what to do. "Accounting. It's the best. You MUST do accounting. You will earn alot of money from that job." EXCUSE ME. Who the eff are you to tell me what I MUST or MUST NOT do. It's MY life and the only person who can decide is ME! No point asking me to study what I'm not interested in. And WHO BLUDY HELL said that Accounting is the ONLY thing that can generate TONS of cash into my bank account? My blogshop is doing very well and I'm earning money right now. And I'm being frank, it's ALOT.
If you wanna give your opinions, do it in a more subtle way and not by using domineering words like MUST and all. BACK OFF! Don't put in more stress into my life already.

Toodles with frustration and confusion.

Can you do it again?

It's been a pretty hectic week. Monday was Maths Common Test, Tuesday and Wednesday, we had Maths DI and from Wednesday to Friday, we had that english text production essay to do in class. I managed to write 809 words! Could have been more, but there's a word limit to it. Oh well. Thank god it's over. Well, not really, more to come next week. Accounts and Economics. BLAH!!

Took my daddy's DSLR to college today. Had to transfer some pictures over. After doing that, I started snapping pictures. Since class finished early, some of us decide to do a few things.

Arisha, poser betul la you. =P

Fiona, my babe, always clicking

Oh yeah, the four of us, Kavi, Fiona, Kat and I came up with a new term that will spread across the country! Clicking. Yes, clicking. Clicking simply means blogshopping. You go to the computer and you start clicking on the mouse, browsing from one blogshop to another. Clicking. It's pretty funny actually. The word is spreading around. Even some boys use it. =.=

Kavi, babe... ah, gone la this one. =P

Yi-laine, she brought her guitar, so she started playing it. You're really good, baberz..seriously, you're in the wrong course

Kat, another one clicking. Oh yeah, did I mention you look really pretty with your hair like that? =D

Hannah and I got bored during Econs class. We decided to take out our G1 pens and start drawing on our hands and legs. Ah, fake tattoos. Would be really cool to get one though. =D

Totally awesome. Hannah drew that. She had one on her hand, the word, "shit". Cool

This one's mine. The word, "dreamer". It'd be cool if i had that tattooed on my wrist.

Yeah, this is what we do in college. =D

Well, ain't that pretty?
